Ruth Rodriguez is a founding partner of Gonzalez Rolon Valdespino & Rodriguez, a premier international trade law firm with offices in Dallas, San Antonio, Washington, D.C., Mexico City, São Paulo, and Paris. Under her leadership, the firm has earned international recognition as a boutique legal powerhouse in cross-border trade compliance and law.

Ruth’s legal practice spans all areas of import and export law, including NAFTA/USMCA and other global trade agreements. Her expertise also includes customs law, litigation before the U.S. Court of International Trade, and advisory services on strategic international transactions. Ruth brings a powerful combination of legal acumen and public policy insight, grounded in both her legal education and early career in federal government service.

Before co-founding the firm, Ruth served as an attorney for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), where she was responsible for managing international litigation tied to the then-largest failed bank in the U.S.

She is a proud Texan, a tireless advocate for women in trade, and an educator to the next generation of customs professionals.
