Renee Chiuchiarelli is an accomplished trade compliance practitioner with over 30 years of experience in international trade, customs operations, and global supply chain management. Throughout her career, Renee has remained committed to advancing the field of trade compliance by contributing her time, knowledge, and insight to initiatives that foster education, innovation, and ethical practices within global commerce.

Renee began her career in international logistics with hands-on experience at various freight forwarders and customs brokers at both air and land borders—an early career move influenced by her father’s guidance. She later transitioned into the importing sector, serving as a Customs Manager for a top 100 U.S. importer, managing compliance for a broad portfolio of consumer goods.

Her career advanced into the defense and aerospace sector, where she held the role of Director of Global Customs for a major multinational exporter/importer, leading strategic customs and compliance operations worldwide.

Based just outside of Los Angeles, Renee leads an active lifestyle that reflects her love of nature and learning. She enjoys surfing, skiing, hiking with her McNab collie, Vinnie, and figure skating. An avid learner, she’s currently exploring the ukulele and frequently visits Northern California to spend time with her daughter.

Renee is also deeply committed to environmental stewardship and community involvement, volunteering with organizations such as the National Park Service, Heal the Bay, and the Thousand Oaks Library.
