Essentials of the EAR
This on-demand course provides comprehensive information on the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and how they affect export activities. The course covers topics such as determining EAR coverage, classifying items, understanding licensing requirements, and complying with recordkeeping and reporting obligations. It also explores key concepts like foreign ITAR aircraft, specially designed items, and exclusions from EAR coverage.
Throughout the course, you will learn about the criteria for determining if an item or activity is subject to the EAR. This includes activities related to the proliferation of nuclear explosive devices, missiles, chemical or biological weapons, and certain military intelligence. The course also addresses support activities in weapons of mass destruction proliferation that are prohibited for United States persons.
