Classification Under the EAR
This course provides a focused review of classification under the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Export Administration Regulations (EAR). It covers essential information about how the EAR’s Commerce Control List is structured, offers strategies and tips for classifying new items, discusses how multiple classifications can relate to a single item, and highlights the impact of Export Control Reform on classification. After taking this course, you will walk away with a comprehensive understanding of how to determine classifications within the EAR
This course is made up of a total of 5 lessons. Each lesson is designed to concentrate on a specific topic and provide you with the fundamentals and basic understanding of the EAR. Each lesson contains a video and a review that will need to be completed to proceed to the next section. Lessons may not be taken out of order.
There is a final exam to test your knowledge when all lessons are completed. When you pass the exam you will be awarded a certificate of completion and a digital badge to display on your profile and share with the community.
