Manuel is a Global Trade Advisory Partner leading our commercial strategy in Baja California and Sonora, as well as our GTA practice in the Western Region of Mexico; with over 25 years in the field, working in the government and the last 21 as a professional consultant with Deloitte.

He has extensive experience in advising new business set up and business expansions in Mexico by designing optimal operating structures, tax and trade strategies, compliance programs and technology implementation.

He specializes in the customs and global trade industry, where his beginnings as a government official has helped clients navigate audits with very successful stories. He has also assisted our clients in developing compliance projects for customs obligations, as well as implementing internal controls for risk management of our client’s foreign trade operations.
