Included:

Tier 1: Acquire knowledge on truck, rail, air, and ocean transportation networks and the geographical considerations involved in the movement of goods. Explore how the Incoterms® 2020 rules delineate the allocation of costs and risks during the transportation of goods from the seller to the buyer. Attainment of a Tier 1 or Tier 2 certificate necessitates successful completion of this course.

Tier 2: This course covers subjects including commercial paperwork and meeting regulatory requirements, global payment methods, exporting packing and storage, insurance for cargo, securing cargo and handling dangerous goods, pricing and estimating, and providing alternative transportation options. Successful completion of this course is necessary to acquire a Tier 1 or Tier 2 certification.

Tier 3: Going beyond the fundamentals, the Advanced Freight Services course provides in-depth insight into ocean transportation, ocean and air chartering, project cargo, customs, transportation law, legal liability, and the freight forwarder’s role within the supply chain. Once a Tier 2 certificate is obtained, finishing this course meets the Tier 3 certificate prerequisite.
