Cindy boasts an impressive tenure of 35 years in the international trade industry, showcasing a diverse range of expertise from import and export operations to consulting, compliance, and automation. Her career highlights include leading roles such as the Executive Director of the ACE Business Office at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Trade, and Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and Compliance at a Fortune 50 company. In these capacities, Cindy was integral in ensuring global compliance with evolving trade laws and regulations.

She has also contributed her skills to enhancing compliance and operations in various small to medium-sized international trade firms. Cindy’s expertise was recognized nationally when she testified before the Senate Finance Committee on customs modernization in February 2023, and again in 2008 before the House Committee on Homeland Security concerning cargo security.

Notably, Cindy has been an active voice in the industry through her affiliations with significant organizations such as the DHS Commercial Operations Advisory Committee (COAC), the Department of Transportation (DOT) Freight Logistics Optimization Works (FLOW), the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA), the International Compliance Professionals Association (ICPA), and the American Association of Exporters and Importers (AAEI). Her contributions extend to frequent speaking engagements at various customs compliance seminars, roundtables, and conferences across both the private sector and government roles.

An accomplished professional, Cindy has been a licensed customs broker since 1990 and holds certifications as a Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Export Specialist (CES) through the NCBFAA, underscoring her profound knowledge and commitment to the international trade sector.
